Colin is a shareholder with the firm. His practice focuses on civil litigation in state and federal courts. His areas of practice include appellate representation, business and commercial disputes, automobile accidents, construction matters, fire and explosion-based loss, insurance defense, trucking and transportation, municipal litigation, premises liability, and products liability, amongst others. He has represented individuals, business entities, and insurance companies from pre-suit matters through jury trials to verdict and in subsequent appeals. Colin has appeared in numerous Wisconsin district courts and Wisconsin appellate courts in addition to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Colin obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas (B.A. political science, magna cum laude, 2008). He obtained his law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D. 2011). While in law school, Colin gained trial and litigation experience, pursuant to the student practice rule, with both the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
